Casper has done it again. I'm a fan of their original mattress, but the new Snow Hybrid model is really fantastic. I saw ads for this thing all over the place and honestly had my doubts about how much cooler it would sleep, but to my delight when laying on it for the first time I could genuinely feel the cooling effect. Such a relief after moving to LA during a super hot week. Not once on these sweltering nights have I woken up in a sweat!

And I feel like we've gotten used to it, but it deserves to be said: All hail the mattress in a box. Remember life before these things? Casper was one of the first, and they're still the king. The mattress arrived safe and sound at my place even before I did, and setting it up was as easy as unwrapping it and letting it puff up. I've tried other foam mattresses that take so long to fully expand, are so heavy they're impossible to move, and simply aren't as comfortable. My Casper expanded fully in less than five minutes, is light enough that I can move it around by myself, is the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on, and now I can add that it's also cooling. Love, love, love. Could not recommend it more highly, especially if you live somewhere warm or tend to sleep hot.
