This product is mainly used for collection, transportation and preservation of oropharyngeal parts of respiratory and enteric virus such as influenza, bird flu, hand-foot-mouth, swine flu and so on. It is also suitable for the collection of other viruses, chlamydia, mycoplasma and ureaplasma urealyticum specimen.
The collected samples are stored in the sample preservation solution, which can be used for the extraction and purification of viral DNA/RNA for subsequent RT-PCR analysis or gene sequencing and other detections.
Sample Preservation Solution
Use virus lysate and virus nucleic acid preservation solution to mix fully. The virus lysate inactivates the virus in the sample, greatly reducing the risk of laboratory infection. The nucleic acid preservation solution formula suitable for virus preservation ensures the high efficiency and integrity of virus preservation, and can be transported at room temperature and stored for a long time. Built-in glass beads, convenient elution, conducive to the release of viruses and other microorganisms into the sample preservation solution.
Usage of virus sampling tube: 1. Before sampling, label the sampling tube with relevant sample information. 2. According to different sampling requirements, sampling swabs are used to sample the corresponding parts. 3. Break the part of the sampling swab through the breaking point.4. Quickly put the swab into the sterile sampling tube, and tighten the tube cover.5. Fresh collected clinical specimens should be delivered to the laboratory within 48 hours at 4 ºC. If not, they should be stored at - 70 ºC or below. The samples should be inoculated and separated as soon as possible after being sent to the laboratory, and those that can be inoculated and separated within 48 hours can be stored at 4 ºC. If not inoculated, it should be stored at - 70 ºC or below. Instruction for Use:k11.Take out the flocked swab and get sampling with it from right body parts. 2. Remove the tube cap, put the swab into the transport medium. 3. Bend the swab at a 180 degrees angle to break at the appropriate point. 4. Tighten the cap, shake it several times and complete the sampling.
